Hugh E. Ridge (1899-1976). The striking oil painting on canvas is dated to 1954 in the lower right corner of the painting. An exhibition label on the reverse reads ' Exhibition The Society of Marine Artists - Guildhall London'. This was in 1955 and is listed No.55 in the Royal Society of Marine Artits Exhibitors guide. This is signed and mentions the address of the artists studio in St Ives Cornwall - The Dragon Studio.  61cm x 74cm
